Adding To Our Body Of Knowledge

For over fifty years, Texas Lodge of Research has been adding to the body of Masonic knowledge through research papers conducted by it members. This information is then published and distributed internationally to Masons and to Masonic Lodges and Libraries. Through quarterly meetings and regular publication, TLR inspires Masons of the Grand Lodge of Texas and other Grand Lodges all over the world to conduct research in the mysteries of Masonry and the history of our Craft, then submitting it for presentation. However, presenting a research paper is not a requirement of membership; many members join just to learn more about Masonry in general and the history of Texas Masonry in specific. Any Master Mason can become a member and our dues are only $35 per year. Click the Petition link for more information.

Recent Anouncements – March 24, 2012 Stated Meeting

The March stated meeting of TLR will be hosted by Fredericksburg Lodge #794 in Fredericksburg, Texas, and will begin at 10:00am. Following the stated meeting you and your lady are cordially invited to attend the luncheon and installation of officers of Texas lodge of Research on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Fredericksburg Inn & Suites, Barons Creek Conference Center, Fredericksburg, Texas. The presentation of a research paper by outgoing TLR Master, R:.W:. MerIen Howe, will follow the luncheon and precede the installation ceremonies.

The luncheon menu will include Green Salad with Two Dressings; Grilled Chicken Breast; Buttered Egg Noodles, Green Beans, Roll & Butter, Apple Strudel, Fresh Brewed Iced Tea provided by My Own Chef Catering of Fredericksburg.

Luncheon tickets are $15.00 each. Reservations and payment for the luncheon must be made in advance by sending a reservation and payment to Texas Lodge of Research, P.O. Box 684684, Austin, TX 78768. Reservations and payment must be made no later than March 7, 2012.
