The James David Carter Award

The James David Carter Award for Literary Excellence originated in 1985 as a recognition of an author who evinced proper research and a well written paper. The award is presented to the best paper in each volume of the Transactions, if there is one meeting the qualifications as judged by the Publishing Committee.
